A new path
to learning

We are on a quest to spark a mindset shift in the way we teach and learn across diverse classrooms of India. We are calling on teachers to create learning environments like those that none of us experienced in school – learning environments that our students can no longer do without to thrive in the modern world.

Our commitment

to teacher

To Teachers

Teaching is hard. We know that and we also know that teaching can be joyful, even exhilarating. Our promise is to bring the joy back for teachers by being true partners who recognise every teacher’s strengths and draw out their inner creativity, making every teaching day invigorating.

to students

To Students

We believe every student should leave school with a strong sense of all that they are capable of and equipped with the skills to be successful. Our work with teachers is always about the students. We empower teachers so all students can thrive.

Science-backed art of teaching

We ground our work in research-based practices that support how students learn best, while also recognising the creativity, intuition, and human connection that great teaching requires. By blending evidence with the “craft of teaching”, we help educators create learning experiences that are effective, engaging, and deeply meaningful.

It’s about the people

In our work, we recognise the complexity of humans – both educators and students. Therefore, we spend the time to build connections and relationships of trust, both with the teachers we work with, and within the professional learning communities that we are striving to build.

What differentiates us

Workshops are dime-a-dozen – the presenters come and they leave. But we stay. We stay until real change happens in the classroom. Our Workshop + IC model is the first of its kind in India – and it is designed for lasting impact.

Naira Jansen

Founder, Teacher, Instructional Leader, Coach

I have often wondered “how would I be different had my education nurtured my true potential as a learner and human being?” Having experienced what student-centred, inquiry-driven education looks like at my first job as a teacher at an international school in New Delhi, I have made it my life’s work as an educator to understand the principles and best practices in creating cultures of thinking in classrooms, implement innovative instructional practices in my own classroom, and eventually to help teachers to do the same. I obsessively think about student engagement and how we can find ways to get students excited and immersed in learning.

I have been an educator for over twenty years and worked both in India and in the United States in schools that value and implement student-centred learning. I have presented workshops on designing inclusive, thinking-driven curricula in both the US and India, led faculty in implementing the IB curriculum, and been an instructional leader, supporting teachers in making impactful change in their classrooms. I have an Instructional Leadership Certificate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), an Instructional Coaching Certificate from Instructional Coaching Institute (ICG), in addition to a Masters degree in Hispanic Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and a Diploma in Spanish Studies from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. What really reflects my passion for learning are my numerous PD certificates from HGSE and other leading institutions in the field of education.

I am happiest when I am engaged in new ways of thinking and I delight in infusing the same spirit of curiosity in my work with educators.

Our mission is to empower teachers to create learning environments where all students can thrive.
